How much does a banner ad cost?
Every placement costs $10 for 30 days, whatever size you choose. You pay once; there is no bidding, minimum spend or contract.
How do I pay for a banner ad?
Pay by card through Stripe or with PayPal when you place your order. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.
Are there any extra fees?
No. The price shown covers the whole run. There is no setup fee and nothing to cancel when the run ends.
Sizes and files
What banner ad sizes can I buy?
All standard sizes: 728×90 leaderboard, 300×250 medium rectangle, 336×280 large rectangle, 160×600 skyscraper, 300×600 half page, 468×60 full banner, 250×250 square and 320×50 mobile banner.
Which banner size is best?
If you choose one, choose the 300×250 medium rectangle: it fits desktop and mobile layouts. Our banner ad size guide explains when to use each size.
What file types can I upload?
PNG, JPEG, GIF (including animated GIF) and WebP, up to 5 MB. The image must be exactly the size of the placement, for example 728 × 90 pixels for a leaderboard.
Can I use an animated banner?
Yes. Animated GIF banners are accepted. Keep the animation short and make sure the final frame shows your message.
Running your ad
How long does a banner ad run?
Each run lasts 30 days. The run starts when our team approves your banner, not when you pay.
How quickly will my ad go live?
Every banner is reviewed by our team, usually within one business day. You get an e-mail when it is live.
Where will my banner appear?
In the ad space you choose on the websites that show BannerPromote ads. Your banner rotates with other banners of the same size, and it is never shown on your own website.
Can an ad be declined?
Yes. We review every banner and landing page and decline ads that break our Terms of Service, such as misleading, adult or illegal content. If we decline an ad you have paid for, we e-mail you once, at the address you ordered with, to ask for a new link and/or banner. If you don't send a valid replacement within 5 business days, the order is terminated with no refund.
How do I track clicks from my banner?
Add UTM tags to the link you enter, such as ?utm_source=bannerpromote&utm_medium=banner. Your analytics tool will then show the visits your banner sends.
Can I change my banner after ordering?
Contact us with your order number and the new image, and we will help you update it.
