Effective November 6, 2026.
This policy explains how BannerPromote ("we", "us") collects and uses information on bannerpromote.com and through the banner ads we serve on other websites. We do not sell personal information.
Information we collect
When you order a banner ad
- Your name or company name and your e-mail address.
- Your banner image and the web address it links to.
- Your order details: the placement, price, dates, and when you agreed to our Terms of Service and which version.
- Payment status and a transaction reference from Stripe or PayPal. We never receive or store your card number; card payments are handled by Stripe, and PayPal payments by PayPal.
When you visit this website
- Essential cookie. A session cookie keeps the order form and admin login secure. It is needed for the site to work and is deleted when you close your browser.
- Analytics (optional). With your permission we use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages are used. It may set cookies and collects information such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, approximate location and how you arrived. Visitors in Europe and the UK are asked first and nothing from Google loads until they agree.
- Your cookie choice is saved in your browser so we don't ask again.
- Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
When you see one of our ads on another website
To choose and display a banner, our ad server receives the name of the website showing the ad, and counts how many times each banner is shown and clicked per day. These counts are totals; we do not build profiles of the people who see or click ads, and our ads do not set tracking cookies.
How we use information
- To process orders and payments, review ads, and send you order, approval and receipt e-mails.
- To show banners, count views and clicks, and stop fraud and abuse.
- To understand and improve the website (analytics, only with permission where required).
- To enforce our Terms of Service and meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Stripe and PayPal, to process payments.
- Google, for analytics, if you allow it.
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and its data.
- Law enforcement or other authorities, when the law requires it or when we believe it is necessary to report fraud, illegal activity or a breach of our Terms of Service.
Your banner image and link are, of course, shown publicly while your ad runs.
Your choices and rights
- Analytics: accept or decline at any time with Cookie settings. You can also block cookies in your browser.
- Do Not Track: our site does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals; use Cookie settings to turn analytics off instead.
- Your information: e-mail [email protected] to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We may keep records we are required to keep, such as payment records, or that we need to enforce our terms.
- Depending on where you live (for example in California, the EU or the UK), you may have additional rights, such as to object to processing or to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us and we will help.
How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to run our business and meet tax and legal requirements. Banner images are kept while your ad is in our system and can be deleted on request after your run ends.
Children
This website is for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
