These terms apply to everyone who buys banner advertising from BannerPromote ("we", "us"). By ticking "I agree to the Terms of Service" and submitting an order, you ("the advertiser") accept them in full. If you do not agree, do not place an order.
1. Who can advertise
You must be at least 18 years old and, if you order for a business, have the authority to accept these terms on its behalf.
2. Ads that are not allowed
Your banner, your link and the website it leads to must not contain, promote or link to:
- Fraud or deception, including scams, phishing, fake offers, impersonation, misleading claims or anything designed to trick people.
- Pornography or sexually explicit material, including adult services and dating or escort sites of a sexual nature.
- Anything illegal, including illegal products, services, drugs, weapons, gambling where it is unlawful, or content that infringes someone else's copyright or trademark.
- Malware or harmful software, including viruses, unwanted downloads or pages that attack visitors' devices.
3. Your link must stay as approved
The address you submit must be the final page visitors land on. After your banner and link are submitted, you must not:
- redirect or forward the link to another page, website or location;
- use link shorteners, cloaking, or different content for reviewers and visitors; or
- replace the landing page with content that breaks these rules.
4. Review
We review every banner and landing page before it goes live and may check them at any time while it runs. We may decline any ad that we believe breaks these terms or is unsuitable for the websites that show our ads.
5. Ads declined at review
If we decline your ad after you have paid because your banner, or the content your link leads to, is not appropriate or does not meet these terms:
- we will contact you by e-mail, at the e-mail address you gave when you submitted your ad and paid;
- in that e-mail we will make one request for a new link and/or banner, and set out these terms again; and
- you must reply with a valid link and/or banner that meets these terms within 5 business days of our e-mail.
If you do not provide a valid link and/or banner that meets these terms after that one request, or you do not reply within 5 business days, your order is terminated with no refund. We do not make a second request.
6. Breaking the rules
If any of these rules is broken, at any time and in any way:
- your banner ad is terminated immediately, without notice;
- no refund is given, for any part of the run; and
- we may share your order details and any related information with the appropriate law enforcement authorities where required or where we believe a crime has been committed.
No exceptions. Breaking the rules of any kind will not be tolerated.
7. Payment and refunds
You pay the full price of the run when you order. Your run starts when your ad is approved and lasts for the period shown for your placement. Refunds are given only at our discretion, and never when an ad is removed for breaking these terms or an order is terminated under section 5.
8. No guaranteed results
Your banner is shown in rotation with other banners of the same size. We do not guarantee a number of views, clicks, sales or any other result.
9. Your responsibility
You are responsible for your banner, your link and your website, and for having the rights to everything in your ad. You agree to cover any claims, losses or costs that arise because your ad or website broke these terms or the law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version you agreed to applies to your order; new orders use the version in force when they are placed.
